Keyboards, Synthesizers and Sound modules from my collection and recording studio
My first synthesizer was "Yamaha DX7s", bought in the year 1986. A few years later (1989) I bought the workstation "Korg T2". I have both keyboards in my studio, still. With these two instruments I composed the songs of my first album "Paradreams".
Sounds of these vintage and rare instruments are still used in my music compositions.
Of course, I combine the vintage sounds of that time with new, digital sounds from my sound library on the computer at this time.
The Synthesizers, Keyboards and Sound modules listed here are part of my studio or my vintage collection.
The Roland D-50 (1987) Synthesizer is one of the most popular 80s synths and its sounds are legendary. The Roland D-50 is next to the Yamaha DX7 and the Korg M1 one of the best-selling synthesizers. I own the Roland D50 since June 2013. continue
The Oberheim Matrix 1000 (1987 - 1994) is considered the most widely used Oberheim synthesizer. The device offers 1000 sounds. It has the same synth architecture as the Matrix 6. There are two versions of this rack synthesizer. I own the first published Matrix-1000 with black front-panel since 2013. continue
The Roland JV-2080 (1997) Synthesizer Module is the world standard sound module for musicians with eight slots for Wave Expansion Boards. An advantage of the 2080 are both the great sounds and the operation. A patch is very quickly edited and adapted. continue
The Access Virus (1997) is a modern synth classic. The virtual analog synthesizer is standard equipment in many studios. I own the Access Virus A - one of the first series and now very rare and rare to get. The sounds of this synth are heard in numerous compositions that I have done. continue
Der Korg DSS-1 (1985) Analog synthesizer with sampling is an extremely versatile synthesis monster. A rare analog sampler and one of the few sampler representatives that actually has real analog filters. I bought this synthesizer from the bassist of the music group "Münchener Freiheit". This Korg DSS-1 is one of the great classics of the 80s. continue
Die Korg Minipops 120 (1976) is an analog drum machine. The model 120 W (Wood) is available in a wooden case as shown here. The Model 120P would be the suitcase version. There are a total of 32 rhythms with 2 variants (A and B), although there are 4 variants of ROCK. continue
Das Vintage Rhythmusgerät Roland TR-55 (1972), also called Rhythm 55, is an analog drum machine from the 70s. It offers a total of 10 rhythms, which can also be combined with variants. The TR-55 is built into a case. continue
The EMU E-5000 Ultra Sampler (1999) is the successor generation of the EMU E4 series and provides almost all the features and expandability of the other Ultra series samplers at a greatly reduced price. continue
The Roland MC 505 Groovebox (1998) is a further development of the Groovebox MC-303 with its proven classic design. It features a dance music sequencer, world-class sounds and unusual, futuristic control features such as the light-sensitive D-Beam controller and the MEGAMIX. continue
The Roland M-DC1 (1995 - 1996) is perfect for dance productions, it features selected 90s dance sounds and loops in 255 patches. continue
